Fun Parks on the Romagna Riviera

Romagna region has always been famous for its beaches, discotheques and trendy places and it is also where the highest number of theme parks can be found in the whole of Italy.

As a matter of fact, the Romagna Riviera is called the “Riviera dei Parchi” (Park Riviera): from water leisure centres to fun parks and theme parks; in Romagna grown-ups and little ones alike can truly enjoy themselves in one of the fairy parks suitable for the whole family.

The most famous theme park in Cattolica is “Le Navi” park, the biggest aquarium on the Adriatic coast with 100 display tanks: turtles, jellyfish, sharks, penguins, to mention but a few.

“Le Navi” aquarium of Cattolica is both enchanting and educational. It tells the story and the mysteries of the sea and of the planet through the biological evolution of sea species; a journey across the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian oceans to the coral reef of the Red Sea.

Another fun park that is famous in Romagna and further afield, is “Aquafan” of Riccione:

A water centre of 150,000 m2 with no less than 3 km of water chutes for adults and children, games, activities and music by day and night. Aquafan operates in collaboration with Deejay Radio and Italian artists such as Jovanotti, the 883 and Fiorello began their careers right here.

The Riviera offers many more fun activities: Atlantica in Cesenatico, the Dolphinarium of Rimini, the Oltremare water park of Riccione.

Moving from water parks to natural parks, we find the Park of Salina in Cervia, the centre of environmental studies “La casa delle farfalle" (the butterfly house) in Milano Marittima, in the province of Ravenna.

Moving from nature to theme parks, we find one of the largest fun parks in Italy:Mirabilandia, where guests of all ages get involved in shows and unique attractions.
